Late Cherry Blossom Pictures

These are some pictures from the cherry blossoms this year. Thanks to some major blogger troubles the posting of these pictures is much later that intended. But everything cannot be perfect. It makes such a difference when these flowers are here I only wish they stayed longer. Enjoy...

this is the nature lover shot!

even the metro got a little of the blossom fever.
I think it was quit clever that they stickers on the metro stop that is closest to the blossoms.

I love Tea!

Two of the unique things about tea are that it is healthy and has a large variety of flavors! For me tea is a great way to indulge without have that weighed down feeling that comes from eating something unhealthy. Teas can be made for specific health benefits and still taste good. It just takes a little time to learn how to mix herbs for flavor and health. I also love to buy teas from local tea shops and health food stores. There is never a bad time for a cup of tea!

Here is a great picture that shows how long to steep different teas. And! I learned what yellow tea is: " a variety of tea which is slowly gaining recognition in Western countries. It is produced only in China, where it has long traditions. As the name suggests, yellow tea has a yellow, golden appearance, both as unused tea leaves and as the finished, brewed tea. Despite the color, it has the same antioxidant content as green tea, but lacks the strong "grassy" taste disliked by some." I would like to try it. (comment bellow and tell me if you have)

Anyway. I strongly recommend drinking more tea to keep cravings away and fight off the temptation of the ever present free soft drink. Plus, its good for you.

p.s. don't (!) sweeten your tea with sugar or (even worse splenda). Use honey, xylitol, or even better stevia. There are many more healthy sweeteners -never settle for sugar.
